What can I do at MF Training SB?
We are an all-in-one athletic training facility: batting cages, a 17,000 square foot turf field, a boxing room with a competition ring and bag wall, a weight room and an outdoor training area. On top of that we run boxing classes, kids boxing, speed and agility, baseball and softball clinics and workouts, and private training.
Where are you located?
2044 Foothill Blvd., San Bernardino, CA 92410. We are minutes from Rialto and Colton, so most of the Inland Empire is a short drive away.
What can I book or buy online?
You can register and pay for classes, buy gym and boxing gym memberships, buy available membership options, and book or purchase personal training and private lessons when availability is posted. All of that happens on our booking page.
How do I reserve a batting cage or the turf?
Cages and turf are not booked online. Call us at (909) 723-7021 and we will confirm availability and hold your time.
Do I need to reserve ahead or can I walk in?
Walk-ins may be accommodated depending on availability, and evenings fill up fast. Batting cages and turf should always be reserved by calling us.
How do I register for a class?
Register online from our classes page or the booking page, or ask at the front desk when you come in. Boxing classes have a one-time $50 registration fee that includes a practice shirt and shorts.
What are the age requirements for classes?
Boxing classes are ages 8 and up. Kids boxing is ages 5 to 9. Speed and agility is ages 8 and up. Baseball clinics run ages 5 to 9 and ages 10 and up; softball clinics run ages 5 to 10 and ages 11 and up.
How do memberships work?
Memberships run month to month. The weight room is $25 a month, the boxing gym is $25 a month, both together are $35 a month, and the All-Inclusive membership is $160 a month. A day pass is $10.
What is included in the All-Inclusive membership?
Gym access, boxing gym access, unlimited cages, a turf section, InBody access and a massage benefit.
Can I get boxing gym access without joining a class?
Yes. The boxing gym membership is $25 a month and gets you on the bags and in the ring during open hours, separate from the Monday to Thursday class block.
Do you offer personal training and private lessons?
Yes, for baseball, softball, boxing and personal fitness training. You can book and pay online when availability is posted, or call us to get on the schedule.
Can my team rent the facility?
Yes. Teams can rent a turf section, half field or the full field, and there is a $45 per hour team outdoor cage machine rate plus a $40 per hour rate on packages of four or more outdoor one-hour sessions. Call (909) 723-7021 to arrange it.
Can I book the facility for an event?
Yes. We host birthdays, team events, tournaments, meetings and private events. Full turf is $160 an hour and half turf is $80 an hour with a two-hour minimum. Setup and breakdown happen inside your reserved time, and renters provide a Certificate of Insurance naming MF Training SB as Additional Insured.
Do I have to sign a waiver?
Yes. Everyone who trains in the cages, on the turf, in the weight room or in the boxing area signs a liability waiver before entry. Minors need a parent or guardian to sign for them.
What should I bring?
Sneakers, water and workout clothes. Bring your own bat, glove and helmet for cage work if you have them, and hand wraps or gloves for boxing. We have gear on hand if you are just getting started.
What should I expect on my first visit?
Come a few minutes early, sign your waiver at the front desk, and we will show you around and point you to your cage, turf section, class or the weight room.
What are the facility rules?
No cleats on the turf, sneakers only. Re-rack your weights, wipe down equipment, and keep the cage gates closed while machines are running.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday we are open 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday we open at 10:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM.
